SEATTLE
The storm moved through the Northwest on Friday, bringing some rain and wind lowlands but several inches of snow mountains. Crystal Mountain ski resort reported 22 inch snow through Saturday afternoon, while white has about 21 Pass inches and Stevens Pass has about 27.
Even low-altitude passes picked up some ground as the Snoqualmie Summit said they got 15 inches of new snow over the past two days. The dump is enough to close traffic on I-90 East for several hours Friday night.
Fresh powder will welcome skiers and snowboarders to the local slopes this weekend.
